Beck, of Vicksburg, was crowned Miss حوإ¼½م½م 2023 on Nov. 11. She was the first runner-up in the 2021 competition and now looks forward to participating in the Miss Mississippi pageant next summer in Vicksburg.
Beck is a sophomore at the Raymond Campus. She is currently in General Studies with plans to enroll in the Physical Therapist Assistant program at حوإ¼½م½م. She is an honors graduate of Warren Central High School and serves as a captain for the حوإ¼½م½م Hi-Steppers.
Her talent was a dance performance to the song “It’s About That Walk†by Prince. Beck’s social impact initiative is Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), an aggressive type of childhood cancer that forms in the brainstem. With her title, she hopes to bring awareness and raise funds for families affected by this condition.
